Q:Why name the Blog “The Anomaly’s Journal”?
Why not!? My vision for this blog was of one similar to Gossip girl or Lady Whistledown’s Society Papers. Although, instead of sharing the gossip of others lives I’d share my interests, life experiences, and opinions on various topics that other teens / young adults may find value in.
Analyzing the name further… “Anomaly” specifically references how we are all unique and may even surprise ourselves and others with what we are capable of. “Journal” gives insight to the kind of vibe the blog generates, private and laid back. As if we are engaging in conversation.
Owner & Founder ->
Hello there Stranger!
Over the past few years, I’ve accumulated a variety of hobbies and skills (proper grammar and spelling not being my strong suits). After taking creative writing and a journalism class—where I wrote articles for my school’s magazine—now, as a 17-year-old high school student, I’ve discovered a deep love and passion for both reading and writing.
This journey has lead me to creating The Anomaly’s Journal, where here, I hope you can read, share, and connect with others who are navigating a similar life’s journey to your own, and you feel a little less alone.
Amirah

Starting my junior year at a new high school with 0 friends, and a limited amount of extracurriculars that interested me was a challenge. However, the experience gifted me a new perspective on life and personal growth.
